I am setting up a 5 gallon Eclipse Hex tank and I want to get some colorful fish to put into it. Does anyone know if I could put 2 female and 1 male killifish into it together? I have heard they can live as a pair in a 1 gallon...would adding another female work out in a 5 gallon?

What kind of killie are they? Different species behave differently.

I don't know which ones I would like to get yet...which ones would be able to live in a 5 gallon together? I want some colorful fish that I can have more than one of. I am a relatively experienced fishkeeper. I currently have 4 bettas (2 males and 2 females) and a 15 gallon community tank. I have in the past had goldfish (I used to have a 50 gallon.) kuhli loaches, cories, tetras, danios, pirahnas, mollies, platies, and guppies...but I don't know alot about killies and I can't find much info about them...if you can think of any other fish that would fit the bill...let me know...

www.aka.org/The American Killifish Association website. There is a section where you can look through different species, see what their requirements are, etc...
