I think so...definitely mini, definitely submersible, not sure about the Hagen Anyway, WHERE? ?? Try this site under Products. Don't be put off by the rinky-dink appearance of the website; they apparently have a HUGE inventory, and at prices that I haven't been able to beat anywhere. I've ordered from them several times with no problem: www.leisure-time.com/

ARGH! I went over to buy the tank kit today. I wanted to buy extra filters and an extra bio wheel. That is when the death spiral started. The salesperson informs me that there is no bio-wheel and that I really would want to buy a new filter. OK, so she shows me a Penguin filter and suggests that I buy a tank/hood combo and buy the heater and filter from another mfg. When I bought into that, we went and of course, the only tank/hood combo was defective (crack). She tells me that they will test the crack to see if it is an issue (YES it is an issue, for me ) We then move to buying a basic tank and a different hood. OK, I tried the hood on the tank and it didn't fit. She insists that it does fit, looks at it and says, "Wow, maybe I shouldn't sell these for use with this tank, it doesn't fit!" . Bottom line -- no tank yet Looks like an internet purchase coming up. No instant gratification.

DARN DARN DARN At least you maybe taught her a lesson and saved other fish owners from discovering the problem themselves The good thing about internet purchases is no travel time and usually no sales tax Look for the positives. I'm sorry I brought up the whole instant gratification thing, you might have been happy if I hadn't reminded you that you wouldn't be ...

BR: That would be the one!
While surfing the web for options, I went to one of the "recommended" manufacturer's site. Have you seen what they offer for Bettas? They advertise a betta bowl (looks not much bigger than those awful cups) on a metal rod to use as a decoration in your plants!

If I'm not mistaken, PetsFart is owned/operated by MalWart.
Figures.

I was going to say that those kits are a good deal...oops...OH! and on all of our tanks except the goldfish tank, we don't have a biowheel, but it doesn't really seem to matter because of the gravel in the bottom of the tanks. If you were to run them with a bare bottom, then you'd want the biowheel, but IMO, it isn't really necessary for a graveled (is that a word?) tank.
