Hi, My roomie has an adult guppy and some baby guppies, and they're not eating the tropical fish food she's giving them. Can someone suggest food that might work better? Thank you! -DT

How old are the fry? Is this a can't eat, or a won't eat type situation?

hi! i dunno what "can't eat, or won't eat" might mean. the fries are about 2-3 days old. i cannot tell if they are eating what is there, because i imagine it is almost visually impossible to tell. i had 1 die sometime today, and i am just really hoping it did not starve to death. thanks for the help!

Won't eat means they don't like the food and can't eat means they're still living off their yolk sacks, or the food bits are too large for them to eat. They should be eating within 3 or 4 days of birth.
If you use the food that TLC recommended above, you shouldn't have any problems. You can even crush up tropical flakes to give to them =)
If one died, you should also examine the water quality to make sure nothing is amiss.
