I am having a issue in my goldfish tank, I completly clean the tank and about 3 days later the sides are covered in what I believe is moss its not algae but green hairlike patches, I have tried snails and algae eaters in there but they wont eat it and I cant stop it from growing, any idea's?

It's algae =) If it's in hair form, there are only a few fish that will eat it -- most won't even touch it. Other than that, controlling algae comes down to light and nutrient control. Posting pictures would be helpful in identifying it, but it's not mandatory. I have an aquarium FAQ about algae that might be helpful. I have the tank in my kitchen not in front of hte window but next to it I will try to pull down the blinds and see if htat helps ty.
