The filter bag (that holds the carbon) broke during my water change...so the little carbon bits ended up all over my tank. Of course they are too heavy for my gravel vac to just suck them up. I have sand in the tank, so all the little carbon bits are just sitting on top. Will this hurt anything? Should I tear the tank down to get them out, or can I just pick them out a bit at a time during water changes?

Take them out, just so the fish don't get in trouble (remember, fish are like babies, don't leave anything around that they can fit in their mouths.)
