Well it's about that time again ... Spring Break is over and I'm making the trek back to college tomorrow. After some research on good ole HB on traveling with bettas, I've decided that I'm going to use bags to transport them this time rather than the plastic cups that I bought them in, which is what I usually use. I'm worried about the pH change and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to make it as seamless as possible. I'll test the water at school tomorrow when I get there and post the exact pH of both the source and destination water, but does anyone have any advice on this subject?

The best thing to do is bring a container of water from home with you. Fill up his tank with water from home, and then over the period of 4 or 5 days do 25% water changes. That should do it.
