Up until a week ago, my Prime had no smell. Now, it smells of sulfur, which is normal according to Seachem, so I'm not worried that anything is wrong with my bottle.
But this isn't a faint, odor -- it's bordering on repulsive. It sticks to your hands, clothing, and can be smelt in the room for a few minutes after you open the container. I might have to stop using it because I just can't tolerate the odor getting into my clothes and lingering in my room every time I put four drops of it into a 1.75 gallon container.
I've used it for 8-9 months now, and only started giving off the pungent sulfuric odor a week ago. Has anybody else's bottle of prime suddenly started smelling like sulfur? Has it coincided with a transition to warmer weather at all?

mine has ALWAYS reeked of sulfur...i just thought it did that;)
...but my guess would be warmer weather makes it smell bad. I bought my bottle late last summer, so I'm sure at some point it was exposed to high temps.

so I'm sure at some point it was exposed to high temps. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. But it's not like I keep my bottle in the sun...it sits in my closet and the temperature in my apartment hasn't been above 80F. I know I sound like a whiner, but I just can't tolerate this smell getting everywhere when I change my water...it's very unpleasent to have my room and clothes smell like sulfur after only releasing 4 drops of it from the bottle (enough for a 20% water change on my tank.) If Prime was the only water conditioner out there I wouldn't be complaining, but this so far is my only bone to pick with the product. I wonder what refrigerating it would do to the chemical balance in it...hrm, maybe I'll ask Seachem.
