I am glad that the Betta Bites worked! Kaluha sure likes them. He knows what they look like on the counter. When I go over to the tank he will come and "play"; however, if I even start to reach for the bottle of Bites, he starts going insane and makes a bee-line for where I feed him.
If you have trouble finding them where you are, drop me a line when those are gone and I would be happy to send you more. My guess is that should be around 2007 ;D.

Hi, Don't know where you live, but if you can't find Betta Bites locally and have a WalMart around, check out the AquaCulture micropellets. Exact same thing but distributed as Aqua Culture for the chain store.

Yes, it is the exact same stuff I got some for my daughter when she took Dory back to school - I am missing a fish and all of the fish I have had love BettaBites and know what they look like! ;D I get the "happy supper dance" from everybody whenever I pick up the bottle

It's cool when they recognize the container. Nappy does the same thing with his Betta Buffet flakes...it has a bright red lid and he gets all excited whenever he sees it (and this is all "instinct" right? baloney).

I just got some of the Betta Buffet flakes since you said even your pickiest eaters gobble them up - my guys seemed a bit confused but were willing to give it a taste

Hey, they sound like good sports. ;D
I'm looking for some more of that Azoo 9-in-1 Pellet. That's good stuff; another micropellet. I think Drs. Fosters & Smith carry it, but their shipping is STEEP.

How large are the Azoo pellets? My guys will eat any pellet food but after all the threads on the forum about constipation I'm very leary of using anything large...

Hi! I'm brand new to the board and to bettas. I found this site in a desperate search for information about bettas. I just got two bettas, a boy and a girl (don't worry their tank is seperated they have no idea eachother are there) and my boy will not eat. I've really been stressed about it and this board has made me feel a lot better! I have both Hikari Bio-Gold pellets (which my girl loves and gobbles down) and Bettamin flakes. She doesn't like the flakes and he just plain won't eat. I'm going to get some of the micro pellets tomorrow and try them. I'm hoping he's been nibbling on a flake when I'm not watching and will get adjusted to his food soon. I always make sure to take out all of the uneaten food after 10 minutes or so and I really hope he'll do okay. I just wanted to say thanks for all the info and I'm adding this site to my favorites so you'll probably start to see me post around from time to time. Thanks again!
