I was told that the Sera Nitrivec is a good product to use when you want to cycle or add good bacteria back after a partial change, is it any good? Do they have any other good products? The US/Canada site is www.sera.ca/

I've never used them.

You shouldn't have to add bacteria to an established tank (and if you do it should be directly on the filter media.) If you clean your media carefuly, you shouldn't see much bacteria loss.
