I recently just got a shark for my fishtank. The betta and the shark actually get along, i know its weird lol. They chase each other around but he never flares or bites. (the shark is way too fast anyway to worry There is one problem though: The betta eats all the food!!! The shark gets nothing, and I dont want to keep adding food because I know the betta will just keep on eating and just die because I fed him too much. Any Suggestions? Oh yeah I tried to use just flakes but he ate all of them too. lol

Thanks for the reply!!! I put ralph in a little bowl within the tank, and threw in some food and what do you know the little shark flew up and ate all the food. He has to learn how to get it himself though because it's a hassle to do lol. After I let ralph out from the bowl he went to the front of the tank and stared at me , like the "what?!? was that!, i hate you" stare lol. Oh well he'll get over it.

If you didn't already know, bala sharks get large, require lots of swimming room, and live in schools.
Even if the betta and shark get along, keeping a single one in a tank like that might not be the best thing to do.
I can't and won't stop you from doing it, but make sure you research the fish you buy, before you buy them.

Yup thank you, I posted a topic in another Aquarium Fish forum and the walmart information tab was incorrect, so I gave the bala to one of my friends who has a 55gallon long tank He is now swimming with 8 others
