Okay. So, I just recently got ymself a betta, I've read everything I could about them fromt his forum, and have everything needed. I even spoiled him by getting a 10 gallon tank. Shelter and very soft fake plants. I have been feeding him twice a day, five pellets, but he just doesn't seem to be eating.. I'm rather worried, have any advice?

If you bought him recently, something like 1-5 days then he must be very stressed and is acclimating to his new environment, from a half pint cup to a 10 gallon continent , so give him some time to get use to. OR he may simply just not like the food you are giving him, sometimes bettas can be picky eaters.

The horrible thing, is the container was smaller than half a pint. It was terrible. But, I just saw him eat a piece of pellet. I was scared for a second. Thanks for the info though!

You might want to try feeding them something besides pellets too, my fish love freeze dried bloodworms. Also, i'm curious: what's your betta boy's name?
