Hi Guys!
I just wanted to post a thank-you to everyone with their helpful advice on my betta "Particle." Here's the update on my once-sick fishie:
I brought him home yesterday in a nalgene, and he did fine on the 2 hour car ride and 6 hour plane flight, and LOVES his new 17-gal *heated and cycled* tank, where he promptly chose a place to build a big bubble nest in a plant :-)
He also has some new friends, 5 danios and a couple Cories (my mom's idea) and they get along well, with Particle as the peaceful king of the tank.
He still looks silly with some missing fins from the fin rot, but there's definitely some regrowth and no sign of any illness.
