My secound dt betta died 
my first was already sick when i bought him but i failed to rescue him from the fungus.
This dt betta also never had a name yet but he was the always the courious and bravest little one he would wounder why he couldnt go upwards while he was under the filter and get scared and zoom across the tank but then shortly after would go back and never give up.
He lived in a very big 10 gallon tank all to him self.
Well like i said he was the most courious and the most bravest betta so he woundered what was beyound his 10 gallon and jumped out. Landed in bettween towels maybe the sofest place to land in my room indeed but also the worst landing for a fish that needs all the water it can get. I was downstairs getting my self some kool aid and when i came back up to my comp were my bettas are I noticed NO FISHEY I droped my kool aid and stuck my hand in the tank turning the decorations over and and shaking his hidey holes and caves to figure out he really did JUMP! I took my lamp out since i had no flash light searched all around the tank and i said to myself well i guess im just gonna have to wake up and find a dried betta i dropped the lamp and searched again. I stuck my hand in the towels and felt around untill my hand came across something that didn't fell like a towel and look closely and there he was my betta i never had a net close by so i gently used my hand and picked him up and put him in back in the 10 gallon. He was wet nor dry he was in the middle and felt grose but that didn't stop me from saveing him! He zoomed up and down left and right but he looked horrible his fins had holes in them and a peice fell off and his side that he landed on the scales look horrible in the middle i watched him for a while and then netted him out and put him in something smaller and added mela-fix and stress coat and placed a paper towel over top on the bowl i placed him in. I prayed to make him be ok and went to clean up and then went to sleep it all happened 5 in the morning. I woke up and checked on him and i guess he just was too stressed out even with the mela-fix that he just gave up. My dt betta had died.
I had notice that both my dt's that died had no names....
maybe i should look into this.....
So far i lost 2 bettas that were those dt's
