Thanks! I think Aragorn is my favorite right now, it was Legolas last week lol. They all get a turn eventually. I got some better pics of Aragorn today, I put him in a smaller bowl so he couldn't swim away so fast lol.  |

lol, I do the same thing. Depends on my mood I think. This week one is my favorite because he'll play with me and follow my finger around and the next week another one will be my favorite because it's so pretty, hehe
Aragorn is gorgeous, that's a great picture of him!

Thanks! I think I am going to have a hard time choosing my favorite for next week lol. I just got 5 new females today and they are these little petite pastel cuties about 5 months old. I'm going to try to get some pics of them soon. They are in a tank together right now and all are getting along swimmingly (pun intended lol). I have a red female that I'm kinda partial to too. She is so enthusiastic when I take off the lid to feed her and she always jumps at my hand... too cute!

Wow! I really like how all of your guys have such unique coloring compared to what I see locally! They're all beautiful! I would have a hard time picking a favorite as well!  Toby and Stormie are cute too! |

Thanks! I love the different coloring, I'm always looking for the unusual ones. Legolas and Aragorn I got from Ababa on Aquabid. They were so pretty, I had to have them! Gimli, I got from Walmart, he gave me that "Take me home with you" look, lol.

ana, thanks Aragorn is my favorite. It's funny because I bought him on Aquabid and the fish pictured on the auction was a totally different color, but he was so cool, I couldn't complain lol. Gimli gave me the same look he has in his pic when I saw him sitting on the shelf at Walmart. How could I just walk on by? lol
sef, thanks! I love them all. Every night before I go to bed I have to go around and say goodnight to all of them lol. I've been keeping bettas for about 3 years, but I have had community tanks for several years. The bettas have captured my heart though and now I am keeping them exclusively. I've got 10 females, 5 males and some 6 week old fry. You're right about my dog, she is a Min Pin. I never had her ears cut off, I thought they were too cute to lose, they give her personality.

I just have to compliment you on your names. *snicker* I have a Legolas and Frodo as well. Also have a Luthien, Arwen, Pippin, Celeborn, and Elrond. I've had in the past a Galadriel, Haldir, Haldir II (who I just gave to a friend), and Gollum. I'm running out of names and will have to consult the Silmarillion soon enough. Haven't found a suitable Aragorn yet. However in honor of Merry and because the actor who played him in the movie is my favorite actor I also have a Dominic. ;D

With the ears "au naturale" like that, the dog resembles a chihuahua. (no offense to the mini pincher) It must be absolutely the cutest thing. And that cat, sitting next to the "fish only" bucket. Looks like he is just waiting for you to look away before Legolas or Gimli end up as a snack. They are all very cute. |

I also have Eowyn, Arwen, Galadriel, and Rosie (Sam's wife lol). I haven't named all of my females yet, I think I will have to consult the Silmarillion too! There aren't enough girls in the Lord of the Rings!

Stormie also has the buggy little eyes which makes her look even more like a chihuahua LOL. Toby likes to drink the water from my fish bucket, good thing it's just water and no fish! I wrote Fish Only on the side so hubby wouldn't use my bucket for anything nasty LOL.
