Mookie's a great little cat. He usually waits for me at the door. Sometimes he can't wait till I get home. Here's a pic of Mookie waiting for me by the window.

Rachel, I recall your telling me that "a week in the country would be good for Mookie..." That was why I sent him to you. The picture of Mookie running though the field being chased by monsters doesn't look like what I had in mind. I have to ask you if anything else unusual happened to Mookie while he was in your care? Was Mookie any bother at all? I snapped a few pics of Mookie that will show you my concerns. Perhaps you can shed some light on this for me. I thought Mookie might be hungry after sleeping for seven days, so I woke him up to feed him.

well... We decided it would be fun if we did some activities during his time off. First Mookie wanted to show off his kung fu with one of his friends: Next we decided to play a game of hide and seek, but Mookie wasn’t very good at finding hiding places: After a while Mookie said he was bored and wanted to go do something more interesting, which is when I found him drinking out of the fish bowl! After I caught him drinking some fish tank water, he started acting a bit funny: That was about the time that you came to get him... How is he doing starlight? Is he back to his usual self these days?

After I caught him drinking some fish tank water, he started acting a bit funny: That was about the time that you came to get him... How is he doing starlight? Is he back to his usual self these days? Well let me see. I sent you Mookie for a QUIET vacation in the country. I told you that he was a city cat and you would have to look out for him. You said you would but the jpegs indicate otherwise. In the course of a few days: (1) Mookie is chased through a field by two monsters. He had to run so fast that his feet didn't even touch the ground. (2) He is subjected to a sword-wielding samari cat. (3) He is stuffed into a cabinet, beer glass and is seen relaxing in a toilet bowl. (4) He becomes thirsty and is forced to drink fish-bowl water. I hope that you use Prime or Novaqua. I have a feeling that Aloe Vera could either clog his arteries or could possibly eliminate hairballs. I just don't have the time to research it. (5) Now delirious, Mookie is somehow hung upside down. I guess the disturbing thing is that you seemed to be around for each dangerous escapade. While Mookie was fighting for his life...what were you doing? Taking pictures. Well Rachel he's not exactly back to his usual self. He's been sleeping for at least two weeks. I was beginning to become concerned about his vacation in the country. When I came home today I had a big surprise. There was Mookie stuffed into a shipping box with a nuzzled label addressed to you. I was wondering if I could ship Mookie to you for the holidays. A White Christmas is usually just a dream in NYC and you might be up to your ears in the stuff. It would be a wonderful experience for Mookie. He asked if his girlfriend "The Mookette" could come along. She won't be any bother at all. I know she will look out for Mookie and even the odds. Here's the "Mookette" (she has a nice purrsonality) I'll eat more Pop-Tarts in the morning and box her up.

Yikes, the Mookette sure is a purrrty gal. Sure, you can send them my way for the holidays. I'll find something to keep them occupied for a while.

I'd like them to have a QUIET White Christmas. This wouldn't include being buried under an avalanche or having a huge pine tree dropped on them. Keep them away from the fish water too. I think that might have accounted for Mookie's unusual behavior. I boxed them up and dropped them off at the Post Office. Mookie and the Mookette are on their way to you. Happy Holidays!

Hi Rachel...I'm wondering how Mookie is doing. The holidays are over. It might be time to start thinking of returning Mookie and his gf.
Please let me know when this is possible.
In the meantime would you tell Mookie that I miss him very much and hope to have him back home very soon.
