Ok this morning shimmers is swimming around his tank flaring at everything! There is no mirror and no other betta here but he is swimming and flarring as if i have a mirror up. I noticed last night that he flared at me once but this is just to funny. He must be really bored today.  |

haha mine does that sometimes too...i have 3 others tho ...he has a female next to him and she i sleepin and he flares at her and then he flaresat everyjting else...i tell you tho Ani is the one my mom calles sohisticated(i dunno why tho  )..anything red around him? |

Is the room brightly lit? Usually bright lights will allow the fish to see their reflection off of many sides of the tank glass. This also happens at times in dull light. He's probably seeing his reflection on the glass.
