Hi Everyone, My name is Eliza and I am new to Healthybetta. I thought I would introduce myself on this poll, but I am also interested to now what some of the more popular betta colors are. In my fish collection I have one male betta named Gizmo and 3 Guppies named Loopy, Holly, and Frizzle. I have had my betta, Gizmo, for 3 months and he is a royal blue veiltail that I got from a petstore. My three guppies are yellow, red, and blue that my friend gave me and I have had them for a year. Now, about the poll. My favorite betta color is yellow because I think they just look so bright and gorgeous. Also, please tell me if the poll doesn't work and how I can fix it. Thanks, Eliza  |

Hi Eliza! Welcome to Healthy Betta!  Your poll works great! I voted blue because I have 8 male bettas and 5 of them are blue or blue-mixed. It would feel disloyal not to vote with the majority:) However - the betta in my avatar is Moonunit - he's white with gold overtones - and I think he's beautiful, so if my other guys didn't care I'd probably vote white...although Max is marbled purple and he's gorgeous too...and Pentecost is a brilliant red.... darn I can't choose!!! I voted blue. My first two bettas were entirely blue and my current one, Ziegfried, is mostly blue (his body and part of his fins are blue while most of his fins are red). It's really hard for me to past up any blue betta I see. I'm getting another betta in a few weeks and although I don't plan on getting a blue one, you never know what will happen. |

I voted purple. My new Betta is purple with some blue and white and one of the reasons I purchased him from the others is because he was unique. I was so used to seeing red and blue bettas but when a shipment came in with green and white and fushia bettas, he just caught my eye and it wasn't long before I took him home =) But as for color, I wasn't being fussy, I was willing to bring home any little fellow that I happened to run into when at the LPS that day.

I am new too, and I already love it here. My vote goes to white, because I just think they are stunning and I love my white betta, Oliver.

I LOVE marbles!! Anything multi-colored. I have a tie-dye guy that is just COOL!! I'm hoping to get a marble crowntail in late september (have to wait till i get back from a trip)

At this point in time I would have to say my favorite betta color is blue since my betta is a really nice blue with some red at the tips of his fins ;D.

I've never seen a black one...if I found one...I'd probably buy it on site...even if I had to nurse it back to health.
I voted red, because Fenriz is red...

If I had to pick just one color...I'd pick two![shadow=black,left,300]White[/shadow] and [shadow=blue,left,300]blue[/shadow]
