Well I havent been able to come by here for a week. My phone was staticy. They finnally fixed it.
Today I learned that the Eletric company is going to move some wires around and set a new pole for my house. They said that it would take 2 hours.
Will my fish and my bio filter in my aquarium be ok for 2 hours with no power?
I have to work monday so I worry about the filter restarting.

Do you have a Penguin Bio-Wheel? Those filters do NOT do well with power outages past 15 minutes...the pump needs ot be primed and will burn itself out. If that's the kind of filter you have, I would turn it off for the day (your betta will be fine) and float the bio-wheel in the tank so the good bacteira don't die.

Thanks. I have the same filter you are talking about except for the bio wheel. Brother in law lost it when he gave it to me.
I would like to take off on that day just to be sure but my job looks at me with shame when I call in. Even though I just took off twice this year due to being sick.
