I was just gone on vacation from Sept 1st to last night. My bettas all survived...and my tail biter even grew half his tail back ;D I had nightmares before we left of my tanks all crashing and everyone dying while we were gone. UGH My tanks are dirty and all need to be scrubbed today...the algae grew with reckless abandon LOL But I even ended up with baby snails in my community tank...PRETTY COOL
I worked out a great method for making sure my fish didn't get over/under fed while I was gone. I bought those seven day pill holders and filled each day with the amount of food that I wanted to feed. I used a labeler to relabel the days to the days that I wanted them fed. That way I could still vary thier diet without confusing my housesitter, and they couldn't dump in too much food. I was able to skip some days too. Everyone seemed pretty happy with this arrangement.
