Ok, I've read threads like this before but I have to share this WEIRD dream I had last night. And like most dreams, it won't make any sense....I have a degree is psychology and the implications are thoroughly confusing!
I was at my office (only *not* - you know how dreams are : and for some reason I was changing offices, or moving a coworkers office...not sure which. Anyhow, my bettas were all there in their 8 individual tanks. (None of my bettas live at my office in *real life*.) My office tends on the COOOOOLLLLLDDDDDD side, so I was very concerned that they stay warm and heaters work, etc. during the move.
Well, somehow Max was in a punchbowl instead of his normal tank and the punchbowl was getting shifted from room to hall to room, etc. (Actually there were some kind of cute tank decorations in that punchbowl...wonder who did those? )
Here's the weirdest part: Moonunit was "hovering" in midair, and for some reason I didn't find this unusual Sort of like one of those sci-fi movies where the "orb" comes in front of your face and hovers....he just kept following me around, finning and staring. I remember thinking (in the dream) that I had to get his tank ready for him soon, that he would need to get back into water at some point. (So good to know I have common sense even in dreams!)
Then, somehow (dreamworld again ) I noticed that Moonie was "missing" from his hovering space and I realized that he probably went and found water - in Max's tank!!!!! So I ran and sure enough found them both fighting in the punchbowl, which was now on the floor in the hall. I decided they would both die fighting if I didn't do something, so I grabbed them both and pulled them from the water. Then (for reasons I cannot even guess) I put them both under my armpits (to keep them warm? ) and continued helping move stuff around. Eventually, I remembered I had bettas under my arms (!!!) and put them into some tanks that magically appeared. Moonie was fine but Max's right fin didn't work so good . Then I woke up. And of course immediately checked on Max and Moonie - both are fine
Sooooooo.....anyone want to tackle analyzing THIS???
Thanks for reading!!! I'm really not insane, or obsessed....just apparently thinking about bettas WAY too much!
