We are not sure what to do for Paprika. After doing research we beleive he has fin & tail rot (torn & frayed fins including the pectoral & pelvic fins). We gave him a complete water change and he's been on Maracyn-Two for 2 days. He's looking worse not better. We can not find Jungle Fungus Eliminator. Is there anything else we can do for our fishy? It's very sad to see him in this condition. Thank you for your help.

if its really bad i would recommend the maracyn combo (maracyn and maracyn 2) and cleaning his water every day during treatment, that seems to help. if needed you can do it for 10 days (usual is 5 days)
follow that up with treatment with melafix for 7 days, you do your regular water changes during that time. melafix can be used for longer than that if needed. many of us add melafix to every water change preventatively, 10 drops per gallon
look in his tank for anything that may have damaged them (if it would tear a nylon it can tear fins)
keep his water conditions very clean, some seem more susceptible to rot than others
i hope he heals up quickly

Do you use aquarium salt regularly? I've found if I up my dosage of aquarium salt during fin rot that aids in the healing process. You can add up to 1 tsp/gallon.
I have not had too much luck with Jungle Fungus Elim; but rather more luck with Tetracycline by Aquatronics. It comes in little caplets that you open to release the powder inside. Directions for use are located under Medications Made Easy that you can access from the "Illness & Cure Info" link at the top of the page. This medicine should aid in the halting of the fin rot. If you decide to switch medicines, make sure you do a fresh water change.
You will know it is stopping and getting better when you see clear/whitish growth on the end of his fins.
Also, has the tank been too cold lately? Has anything occurred that could have stressed him out? Sometimes stress and frayed tails can appear as fin rot.
Once you see tail regrowth I would recommend using Bettafix or Melafix. This is a mild medicine with tea tree oil that will speed up the regrowth process.
