I had two bettas in one tank (they were female) and then one got sick so I took her out. She died and I think she either had a fungal infection or columnaris. Now I'm worried about the other fish. I cleaned all the decorations and the tank itself (the decorations by boiling or rubbing alcohol and the tank by boiling) that the surviving fish is in, but I'm still worried that she might catch whatever the other fish had. Is that a possibility? thank you in advanced!

Does anyone have any information concerning this?

Your sterilization should be fine.
Most bacterial and fungal problems aren't contagious. Fungus is usually present in aquariums in some small amount. Columnaris may or may not be present.
Healthy fish living in a clean tank don't have trouble fending off harmful microbes. Many aquarium diseases that involve fungus and bacteria are caused by opportunistic microbes that take advantage of poor water quality and weakened fish.
