Pearl has been experiencing digestive problems for a while now, but they seem to have become permanent. He is always bloated now, and is very frustrated at his inability to swim easily to the bottom of the tank. I moved him into his own .5 gallon tank with fresh water and added some jungle fungus eliminator that claimed to help swim bladder disease. He is still eating, and swims around a bit. He just looks very depressed when he sits at the top of the tank slightly lopsided, his fins slightly clumped.
What can I do? No changes to his diet seem to help the problem. Shmee!

P.S. no signs of fungus or any other illness.

Has he been pooing? Sounds like he's constipated. Did you fast him? How long if yes? Did you try the pea? Constipation is a major cause of swim bladder problems (if it's constipation, I doubt JFC would do anything, IMO).
I'd just fast him for a few days, then just feed him the pea for a few days. Don't feed him the other food while doing it. There are people in some other betta groups swear that getting them to flare will help them go.
Have you been feeding him a variety of foods? My problem boy with digestion gets 4 different foods and doesn't have the problem anymore (what everyone says about variety, really does work).
