A friend of mine recently bought a betta from the petstore which of course has a mild case of finrot. I recommended that she get JFE since it has worked on my fish in the past. The local pet store only carries Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Fungus Cure and I don't have any experience with that product. Would it work to treat finrot like JFE does? I don't know what the ingredients are in JFE since I currently do not have any, but the ingredients in the Fungus Cure are: 22 mg Neutroflavine and Povidone/Colloid mixture if that helps. If anyone has a clue about this my friend and I would appreciate some help. Thanks

*curses manufacturers that don't post active ingredients lists*
Finally found some info at aqua maniacs tho:
The active ingredients are sodium chloride, nitrofurazone, furazolidone, potassium dichromate

After seeing your reply, my friend decided to take the Fungus Cure back to the petstore today and order some JFE online since the ingredients don't look similar and the Fungus Cure bottle said nothing about treating finrot. Hopefully her poor little guy can hold out until then. Sometimes living in a small town can be burdensome.

JFE is more oriented towards bacteria, and JFC is more oriented to actual fungus.
No indication of why Jungle has misleading names for the products and doesn't publish ingredients and doses. It's a very bad practice.
