Well, I was reading some things on aquariumfish.net and I came across my fancy tail guppies. I was reading about them because I heard they were easy to breed and they are nice looking.... Then I came across fancy mollies and swordtails, who I also love how they look. These fish are also easy to breed, so here comes the question... which one? I really want to move on with my hobby, and I think that I'm ready to start breeding. Now I'm not talking about bettas, because they are at another level. These fish are cheap and would be an interesting way to learn.

I voted for guppies because in my opinion they are easier to breed. BUT it also depends on how much you know about breeding fish. If what you want to breed are all easy then go with the kind of fish that interest you the most.

I was thinking guppies at first too, but some people have told me that they are kind of sensitive when it comes to breeding time.. I really like guppies, they are very pretty... but I may have to try mollies first.

Yeah, I've heard that guppies are sensitives and that they do best in brakish water at temperatue of 70-75 F. If you want here is a great website which gives alot of tips on breeding Livebearers such as mollies and guppies. fish.orbust.net/livebearers.htmli don't think there is much of a difference whether breeding guppies or mollies since they are Livebearers once you put them in your tank they almost immediately start to breed.

Thanks for the link I think I'm going to get some nice guppies to breed, so if any of you are interested in guppies I'll probably have some free ones for you

i voted for gupies because i agree, they are pretty, and they are also a good fish to begin breeding training.
