Today my betta made his first bubble nest since I brought him home <yay> but when I have his light on he starts to flare at the wall of his tank under the nest and he just keeps flaring. I think he's flaring at his reflection because he stops when I turn off the light, however, he has never done this before, and I've been using this light for over a week.
How can I prevent this behavior while still using the light. I don't want him to get too stressed out, but I don't him to be in the dark all the time, his tank doesn't get much other light.
Thanks,
Laura

My betta flairs all the time at his tank walls. But he has gotten used to it and when he tires himself out he just does something else.
