Can African Dwarf Frogs tolerate aquarium salt, and if so, how much? My new frog is done with quarantine and I'm looking to put her in with my betta. However, because I seem to have fungus problems I routinely put some aquarium salt into the tank.
If the frog can't take the salt I'll just leave her in the frog tank with her playmate.

frogs can handle a light amount of salt. Just be careful putting a frog in with a betta...they have NO defenses...so they can be easily killed. Make sure your frog has lots of places to hide.

Well, I introduced my frog slowly to my betta's tank, first acclimating her to the water and then letting her have the run of the brine shrimp net. The betta attacked her multiple times during the hour I sat and observed (and intervened, poor frog!). After the betta started going for appendages I said enough with it, and made the decision never to put anything with my betta.
