ANyone kept any of these little fellas? They can take small tanks too, unfiltered apparently (have to change water more though) I'm thinking about getting 2 in my 6 gal along with the ottos I get. *No one should fight eachother*, as these guys are known to sometimes be to shy to even eat.. but since they would be the only top-mid swimmers i dont see a problem. Thhey like cooler temps too. Kinda cool i think!

0. Also, I don't even have the tank yet Don't worry though, I've figured out my fish stocking and found lots of people who have more fish in their 6 gal then i would and its been running fine for months and months and for once person, a year.

I'm not worried...I stopped worrying about what other people do with their fish a long time ago. I just give people advice and information to help them when they ask for it =)

Haha, i understand. This one guy has 2 ammano shrimp (no big deal), a male betta, 1 otto and 4 white cloud minnows in his 6 gal. Iw on't go that far but he has no problems at all.
I think I'll start with 2 ottos and 2 killis and thats it and see how it all goes. maybe a kuhli loach

Two ottos and two killis should be fine in a 6 gallon. You could throw in a couple of more small fish without really pushing things (assuming filter + plants.) Haha, i understand. Yeah, that sounds fine for a 6 gallon, especially if it's planted (most likely is.)

My daughter has one that looks EXACTLY like that. If fact I thought it was a picture she took that she posted at first until I saw the date. She has the kili, a paradise fish, a sparkling gourami, (you should check out the sparkiling gourami there are so cute and don't get over an inch long), two rummy nose tetra's, a very small whether loach(or whatever their calling them these days, a very small kouli(sp?) loach. When the loaches get bigger they get to go live in my 29. A tiny clown pleco. These are all mini fish in a 5 gal tank. She has had the tank for over a year, nicely planted. She's never had a water problem in it. She loves mini tanks and is planning a mini reef for sometime this year. I'll put some pitures in the gallery if you want to check out what these fish look like. Also, my daughters mud dog moved into his new 29 gal in the bathroom. I thought I'd post pictures for people who've never seen one.

How big is your kuhli loach? they get max about 3.5 inches and stay skinny! She could probably keep them. i read they dont mind smaller tanks just aslong as you have nice substrate for them to burrow in! Sure I'd like to see some photos, i always enjoy em! the kuhli is only about 1 1/2" right now. I can't wait for him to grow so he can move into my tank. I wouldn't suggest getting one unless you have a place to move them to when they get bigger. He is so cute.
