Hi!
I have the Hex 5 and he seems to be doing a lot of swimming around... I am glad he can spread his fins so to speak. I don't have any silk plants as of yet, so there are not any in there... just glass stones and his T tube and the glass spice shaker without the top.
I was wondering (I also looked online) if there were suction cup shelves one could put on the interior of the tank to make like a second floor or "loft" so the betta could relax closer to the top to the air.... and still swim around in a "large" tank. (5 gallon) It would also give another surface to decorate.. ;D
I am just imagining what it would be like... having to go from the basement to the attic to "breathe..." though fish and humans are different creatures.
