I have spotted some baby guppies in my hubby's guppy tank and I was wondering if i should be feeding something special. Right now the tank gets guppy flakes, that is crushed real small cause we have picky guppies that won't eat big ones and an algea wafer 2x a day and in the middle of the day i throw in a bit of blood worms or brine shrimp. the babies i saw are pretty small and i was wondering if they are going to get enough to eat if the adults don't eat them. they have been there for a week now so I think they might stick around

If you are already crushing up flakes, then they are probably getting enough to eat....I wouldn't worry too much about adding any fry food...more than anything it just makes a mess. Do you have any live plants in the tank? Or a source of algae?

I had live plants, but my snail cleared those out pretty well. I do put an algea wafer in every morning and every evening for the snail and pleco. is that good enough?
There is lots of hiding places for the babies to hide in.

ya, then they are probably getting enough to eat...they are pretty industrious when it comes to finding food.

Picture of our guppy tank. Had to wait until after my daughter went to bed to take a pic otherwise it would just be of the back of her head..all she wants to do is watch all the babies
