I've been looking around trying to find fish for my new community tank, and I found a pictus catfish. Don't worry I'm not going to get any because they need a 55 gallon tank. I've seen these at petstores all of the time and they are very interesting. One thing that I noticed online is that everyone says "Do not use a net to catch" If this is the case then what would someone use in order to catch them? BTW My future community looks like this: 2 clown loaches 2 dwarf gouramis 1 honey gourami 1 pearl gourami 1 female betta

you herd them into a cup. They have very sticky, barbed whiskers and they easily get caught in the net. I am ALWAYS helping stupid petsore employees disentangle them from nets after they've been SURE they can just 'net them out quick' without the poor fish getting stuck. Pictus are beautiful!! I can't wait till I have a 55g and can get a pair. this was my Bastet
