I've run into some problems with my otos.
Specifically, they're no longer cleaning the algae from my tank.
I thought that my betta was harassing them, so I pulled him out for a day or two and let them have the run of the tank. No good. They stay in their back corner getting skinnier and skinnier, not wanting to eat the food I put in for them, letting the brown algae get out of hand.
Ammonia is 0, nitrites are 0. Temp is 80. Any ideas about what's going on?
Edit: Forgot to mention. About two weeks ago I gave them a small piece of blanched zucchini, and then after that was when I noticed that they didn't want to eat anymore. But I only saw one eating the zucchini. It may not be related, but I thought I'd mention it.

I'm not sure why. When they were still in with the betta in the divided tank, mine didn't clean up anymore after the initial algae crop. When the brown algae regrew they didn't eat it. I figured they prefered the other food they got. But then I pulled my betta out into a 5 gallon and removed the divider and the molly made quick work of it.
