I've been using Amquel along with NovAqua in my betta bowls since I've been keeping them. I saw some Amquel Plus at the pet store a few weeks ago and decided to get some because it claims to get rid of ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, and I have nitrates straight out of the tap.
Wow! This stuff is awesome! It really does what it claims to do and does not starve your biological filter either. I highly recommend this to anyone who has ammonia, nitrites or nitrates straight from their tap and also people who are cycling their tank with fish in it.
I've got a bunch of regular Amquel so I'm gonna use it half and half with the Amquel Plus until it's gone and switch to only the A-Plus.
WooHooo! The greatest thing since sliced bread! (No they didn't pay me to say this, LOL)

I was at the petstore today and on a whim I picked some of the stuff up (I needed more dechlor) - it was the only stuff that did chlorine and chloramines that they had. Reading this makes me feel better - I was worried it might not be any good. Glad my instincts are still good.

Rhyn, I love this stuff, I've never been so impressed with a water conditioner before, LOL. The only thing that it doesn't do is remove heavy metals which is why I use it in conjunction with NovAqua.
