Ok it's time for a water change!! Since the video is down, can anyone explain to me the right procedures. I have a gravel syphon, 5.5 gallon filtered tank, a betta and a shark...
how much water should I take out?
Is it ok to syphon the rocks with the fish in there?

I take out 25% of the water. I leave little charlie in the tank when I siphon the rocks. I find that it stresses him more to remove him from the tank then to just leave him in there while I am doing my cleaning thing.

Just did it this morning, took 20% of the water out and syphoned the rocks.... the betta seemed to like the cup that I used to get the water out because he kept swimming into it!
They are swimming around like nothing even happened, which is a great thing. ;D
