congratulate me i finaly got the canister filter now im trying to figure out how to swap the filters without disturbing the poor fish... the end result for the canister filter is that i have to cut open the back of the hood to have the filter in right... but that means breaking the built in filter im using now... so i will connect it from the front for the time being until it is filled with the filtering bacteria.... about that subject... do i just leave it running for a month and the bacteria will form or do i take a small part of the allready filtering sponges and place it IN the canister filter? can some one who done this before give me any tips ? thanx
