I have a 5 gallon acryllic eclipse tank. It has a filter and bio wheel, so I've never cycled my tank. My betta recently had an ich outbreak, so I want to clean it out. I was thinking of bleaching it, but I know the tank can absorb it. Are there any ways I can clean it with chemicals, or do I just have to run it through hot water? Also, how should I clean its water plant, silk plant, plastic plant, and gravel?

I use kosher salt (no anti-caking agents, and more of a chunky salt) and 'as-hot-as-i-can-handle' water to clean my tanks out...its mildly abrasive to scrub off gunk, the salt has a bit of a 'cleaning' factor, but yet its 'fish-safe'.
