bottled water

I have been using Nestle Pure Life Natural Spring Water for my little 1/2 gallon bowl. It's bottled water that hails from British Columbia, Canada. Does anyone know the pH and hardness of the water? I want to compare it to my tap water, which has a pH of 8.0 and is quite hard. (Sorry, I don't want to spend money on a testing kit. My betta is active and doing fine in the bottled water).

To be completely honest with you, if you're not willing to (a) spend money on a testing kit to be sure your betta's water is safe, and (b) upgrade the poor guy to something larger than 1/2 gallon, with all the discussion on this and other betta boards about their space requirements, I'm afraid there's not much any of us can help you with . Bottled water is probably better than your 8.0pH tap water, but the only way to know is to test it.
