Hi again,
I was just wondering if anyone here has experienced positive results from foods that claim to enhance the color of your betta. I just started feeding my bettas Hikari Betta Bio Gold for 1 out of their 2 daily meals, and I felt like I noticed a very slight change in their color (for the better, but I'm not sure if it was just me. Their 2nd meal is usually HBH Betta Bites, which also claims to enhance color, but I never noticed any obvious changes with that one. Any opinions?

I honestly never noticed a difference with any foods that I fed... Bio-Gold, HBH, Aquaculture, Bettamin, etc... The only food that I think really made a difference in my bettas colors, and overall health, are small tropical pellets made by New Life Spectrum. This is their website if you care to check it out: www.nlpublish.com/I feed my bettas the New Life Spectrum pellets, or OSI fine pellets every morning, and frozen mosquitoe larvae, blood worms, brine shrimp, or daphnia at night. I've had them on this diet for about four six months now, and they are all the happiest, healthiest, most willing to spawn bettas that I have ever had.

hi Megan! here and i thought i was the only one that had found the Mosquito larva .... my guys and gals really love them i spoil them with blood worms(live and about 4 ounces a week between 24 guys and gal... then the mosquito larva on another meal then a flake/pellet mix on another meal.) yes 3 meals a day ....lol i have really noticed a much bigger nest since the larva and even more on 3 guys im feeding a homemade food to. i dropped the flake/pellets in their diet and changed to the home made food instead and now because of thei nests i cant feed them the flake/pellet anymore it never will get to the water .....lol anyway just wanted to comment about the larva .....
