I just bought some freeze dried bloodworms for Teddy to add some variety to his meal but was wondering if the worms needed to be soaked in conditioned water at all ? The brand of bloodworms that I got is the Nutrafin brand (I have no idea how good it is and that was the only type of brand on the shelf).

It probably wouldn't hurt to soak the worms before feeding them. This way they will expand prior to being eaten by the betta. It may also allow you to get a better idea of how many you should actually feed once you see their full size. How does Teddy like them? I've had some bettas that love fd worms and others that won't touch them.

Teddy seemed to like them when feeding them to him but yesterday when I fed him in the evening, he didn't seem to touch his worms as fast as he had before . I'll be keeping an eye on that anyway. It's been a hard month for him with his illness and changes. Thanks for the advice .
