I have a short question i feed my betta wardleys betta pelletts. It does not say to soak them before placing in the tank, yet i have noticd some other pellets say to soak them. What is the best thing to do? Also some of the pellets i realized to be to big for my betta to eat, should i cut them in half?

It is best to soak them before you feed them to your betta, because do expand. If you don't soak them, you risk blocking up your Betta's intestines.
I feed mine Wardley occasionally, and they are quite big. Cutting them in half is a safe bet.

If I soak the ones I use (happens with bloodworms too), they don't eat it. The only care I have to take is to watch if the pellets aren't stuck, if I'm distracted I can get 2 or 3 at once. Once "unglued", they are small enough I think.

I use to soak my pellets also but found that if they were soaked, he would throw it up (he'd eat it but after feading, he'd throw it all up ) so I've been feeding them dry to him because it'll stay. I just make sure that he doesn't get too much.

yes, my betta does not eat soaked pellets (they are the tiny ones the size of poppy seeds). if one is left uneated and falls to the bottom, he will eat it but spit it out right away. sometimes he even spits out new pellets. I think he's just a spoiled brat

That's what I had to do for my betta for a short period of time until he grew larger. During that time, I soaked the pellets a bit so that it was soft enough to split but not to soft that he'd have digestion problems.
