Hi all ~

Just wanted to share that we adopted two new males this weekend

I'm trying to get good pics but so far no luck, partly my imperfect photography skills and partly unwilling subjects

Sunset (aka "Sunny") is a reddish-purple and I think his fins are called "butterfly" - they are half deep burgundy and half white

Schuyler is tiny

and a beautiful sky-blue shimmery color (hence his name;)) with a pale face and dark eyes.

Both are doing well

eating etc. and Sunny even has a small bubblenest going

I will post pics as soon as my fish and my camera cooperate

Haha!

It was a given that, as soon as I started *thinking* and *planning* to get another fish....I would do it almost immediately

. No will power whatsoever

Just as an aside....living beings should not have "SKU" numbers

I was cleaning out my purse and found the receipt from Sunny & Schuyler's purchase...."SKU 105974....Betta, male". Depressing.

Congrats on the new guys.

It sounds like they're content with their new home already. I'm going to head to the gallery to check out the pictures!
