Hi, and welcome Don't worry about your English - but my Costa Rican (?) would be so much worse!!! Yes, you need to remove any uneaten food...it will decay and destroy the water quality and endanger your fish. A new fish can take a week or more to get adjusted and begin eating normally...don't give up! Offer food a couple times a day but take out anything he doesn't eat within 5-10 minutes. Since you're new to bettas, read the getting started articles on www.healthybetta.com - that will help you learn the basics. Be sure the water is clean and warm (around 78 degrees Fahrenheit) and you will avoid lots of potential problems. Good luck! ~abm
