Interesting question:) I've wondered what others did also.
Generally, before work and after dinner....so, 7am and 8pm.

Haha, I find it hard to keep it the same due to school and stuff like that, but they do get fed twice daily.

I feed mine at 9 am and 9 pm. I kinda figure that every 12 hours would be good for them. I turn on the light and give them their first feeding then I turn off their lights about 15 - 20 minutes after they eat supper.

I feed when I wake up and when I get home from work. No set times. I do try to give Huron one day of fasting (you know, so he can keep his girlish figure! ;D)
A few of my other boys only seemed to enjoy having food in the morning. They might take one pellet in the evening, but they wanted their breakfast as soon as they saw me heading towards their tanks. Probably conditioning from the Megalomart they came from.

well, I'm a night owl. I tend to stay up until 3am and wake up around 12pm. I know I worked shift work for so many years I've never been able to get myself to a "normal" schedule. So, my fish eat at 2pm and midnight. I'm unemployed at the moment so between the pets and driving my daughters around I still fill up my days. By bettas keep me company at the computer so you can bet they don't let me forget their feedings.

I don't really have a set feeding schedule. I kinda feed him whenever he looks at me and wiggles. I don't over feed him though!
Is it better to have a set schedule?

I feed em twice a day. Sometimes i vary it and give them 3 each in the morning and 3 each at night, or 2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 2 at night. when their bellies are to big then i wait till i see some poopies.
Now I just need to get my new oto to eat

Mellyn- from what I understand, the bettas prefer a set schedule. And they will wiggle whether they need food or not. I wouldn't be sure you aren't under/over feeding without some sort of schedule.
My boys get brine shrimp in the morning around 7:00 and bloodworms & daphnia at night around 8:00pm.

I usually feed Storm(my betta) at 6am and 8pm'ish. Is that an okay feeding time? He gets 2 pellets every fedding, fasting on monday, and bloodworms about 10 minutes after supper as a dessert on wednesday.

Well I feed my bettas once a day. On school days I feed them once I get home which is around 3:00 and on weekends I feed them in the morning whenever I wake up which is around 8:00 or 9:00am.

Right now, since I'm still on summer holidays, usually 10-11AM and 6-7PM. Once school starts and I get my volunteer schedule and work schedule, it may fluctuate a bit, but it'll probably be around 7am and 5-6pm
