I have a new community tank. It's a 10 gallon with 1 betta, 3 platies, and 2 panda cories. I've been feeding only frozen food just because I'm not a big fan of flake food. I have San Francisco Bay Brand Community Menu, and also frozen bloodworms (same brand). I haven't tried the bloodworms yet, just the community menu. It's supposed to be a staple food for all "community fish". The platies don't seem to mind it, though they're not exactly crazy over it, but the betta will not even give it the time of day. I tried squirting some right in front of his face and he just kind of looked at it and swam away. Is it maybe because he's still getting used to the tank? Or just really doesn't like the food? Should I try some betta pellets to see if he eats that? I just want him to eat!

Carnivorous fish tend not to like changes in diet. You might have to separate the betta on its own to get it to eat a new type of food. Usually this involves starving it till it gives in to the new food. This is the most effective way to do it, and there aren't any side-affects for the fish, other than being hungry for a few days.
Lots of people waste time throwing foods at their betta trying to find something new they'll eat. A few days without the current food will make a betta change its mind very quickly.
