I dont think there are many breeders around this forum.. but if you go to the front page of the site and look at the top 250 sites button or whatever it gives a lsit of good sites you can find other information about breeding bettas.. heck knows ive found to much for my brain to hold and i dont even want to breed them!
Also just google it, if you havn't allerady.. "breeding bettas". you will find lots of stuff

thanks I have herd you have to have a 10 gallon tank for the breeding tank is that true?if anyone has any tips it would be much appreciated:) thanks ~Randi~[ Yes, a 10 gallon tank is a popular choice for breeding. I'm not really going to go into more information unless you can demonstrate that you've been keeping fish for over a year and know about fish nutrition, water chemistry, and how to cycle a tank. Knowing how to raise live foods is a plus also. The reason I say this is because I see people with a total of three months of fish experience wanting to breed their bettas, and they end up being completely unprepared because they don't know much about how to care for fish in general. You also have to realize that breeding will require a large monetary investment (around $100), and then if the fry do survive you have to find homes for them (as many as 100 in a spawn.) Again, www.google.com will be your friend =)

You can breed Bettas in anything from a 2 gallon tank on up. But the bigger the better as it will offer more room for thefemale to get away or hide from the male when he gets nasty with her.

No. Sometimes after the eggs have dropped she helps bring them up to the nest but usualy you just take her out after i think. Thats just from what ive read though.

No, infact you CAN'T leave the 2 together...the male will kill the female. Once the eggs are laid all the male cares about is protecting them.
