Just got a new red betta. I have tried feeding it betta pellets for a week, but just spits them out. So, I tried frozen bloodworms and it gobbles them up. Is it alright to feed the betta exclusively on bloodworms? I can't seem to get it to eat dry food. Thanks.

Welcome to bettas and to HB , Variety is very important to betta diets, so feeding any food exclusively is not desirable. As you've only had this guy for a week or so, he's still settling in, so I wouldn't worry that he's spitting out pellets. He'll come around Just offer 2 or 3 pellets at the usual times each day, and if he chooses not to eat them, remove them after 5 minutes or so. Very quickly, he will learn to eat when food shows up! It's fine to feed the bloodworms several times a week, just be sure to offer other foods as well.
