can bettas and ADF be in the same tank

Yes. Though I wouldn't do it cuz froggies have appendages and i think that would be too appealing for a betta, but who knows!
But i hear of lots of people that keep them with them.

Just make sure its an ADF! My mother thought she had an ADF and thought it was safe to put with her betta. The frog ate the betta!
So be careful and make sure the frog is the right species and is too small to fit the betta in it's mouth.

bottom line: it depends ont he temperment of your betta.
If you don't want to take the chance your betta will rip apart a frog, don't do it. My betta Skye lived with an ADF for a year and pretty much left him alone...my betta Elmo lived with an ADF for 2 days and killed him. ADFs are defenseless...so if your betta decides to pick on it, it will kill it.
