Hey everyone! I recently got a male beta (about a week ago) at Petsmart. He looked really pretty in those small murky cups, but when I got him home, I noticed that part of his tail was missing. He loves his new home, and seems fine, so that makes me happy...but will his tail ever grow back? I've heard different things, so I thought that this was the place to ask! Thanks!

Yes it'll grow back. His age and condition are factors. Younger bettas tails grow in faster and nicer than older bettas. It's important for you to stay on top of water quality. Water changes, proper nutrition and adding vitamins will help speed recovery and avoid setback.
