Alright well since ralph jr got into the tank he's been acting kind of funny towards my snail. At first he was just staring at it confused, and now he just hangs around it just flaring like crazy! He wont stop either and I usually have to put the snail on the bottom in order for him to stop flaring. Is there anything that I can do?

Was Ralph Jr. by himself before you bought him? I know that I tried putting an algea eater with little Charlie after he was by himself for about six months and Little Charlie was very brutal toward the algea eater. Bettas can get very territorial. You might have to seperate them

Ralph jr. does not like the snail. There is probably nothing you can do about it but move either one or the other to another tank. been there and that was what I had to do.

Ahhh this is stupid lol. I put him in alone and I'm scared that he'll get bored and bite his fins, and if I put some other things in the tank he wontlike them....

Unless your betta has a chunk missing from his fins, then I would not worry about him biting himself. Fin biting is rare. 9 times out of 10 if your betta has a fin problem, then it is probably caused by something else. In the many years that I have been raising these fish by themselves, I have never had a fin biter. I would also not be concerned about him not liking his decor. As long as the decorations won't hurt his fins, he will get curious and check out the new things and moving his decorations around frequently also helps curing betta boredom.

Thank you I just came home from work and he's fine with the snail now, but now he is chasing around the shark constantly, except for when I fed him, lol. The shark is leaving in a couple of weeks so that's ok. For those of you who are interested in the shark, he is moving into a nice 120 gallon tank with 4 other bala's

For those of you who are interested in the shark, he is moving into a nice 120 gallon tank with 4 other bala's That's good. It sounds like a home that is much better suited for him than your betta's tank. I'd try to get the shark there sooner than in a few weeks if you're able to.
