I am going to be moving in December, and it is going to be a hour and a half drive. I have never taken fish on such a far move, but I would not like to part with Little Charlie. If anybody has any helpful suggestions on what I should do, I would appreciate it.

There's two ways to do it:
1. Bag the fish in a large bag, empty the tank but leave enough water to keep the substrate wet. Pack everything up so it's safe. If you're worried about the fish's temperature, put it inside of a cooler or a similar container with bags of water that are the same temperature as the tank water.
2. Drain the tank down to an inch or so, and leave the fish in it.
I routinely move my entire aquarium 350 miles (~5 hr drive) multiple times per year using method #2, but I have also done it using method #1. Method #2 is easier on the fish, but #1 may be easier for you.

Thanks for the tips amanichen. It gets very cold here in December, so I might have to do method #1.

When I take my two hour drive home from school, I use method number two and just blast the heat in the car. Just take your jacket off and put the guy near the rear vents, he'll be fine. Maybe some straps if you have them.
